After North America met its fiery end, a new nation arose from the ashes: Panem consists of a wealthy but cruel Capitol and thirteen districts struggling to survive. However, a rebellion from the districts broke out and the Capitol struck back in a cruel manner. District 13, once in charge of nuclear weapon development, was supposedly destroyed. As a reminder of their power, every year the Capitol selects one girl and one boy, aged 12 to 18, from each district.. These selected young adults are forced to participate in the Hunger Games, a televised event in which the participants, known as tributes, are forced to fight to the death in an arena. The games are dangerous and the people behind them, the Gamemakers, have complete control over everything in the arena. Ultimately only one tribute will come out alive...

The Last Days is a Hunger Games based roleplay that has taken a twist from the books. Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark never made it out of the arena alive. The Mockingjay was never born. District 13's plan to rebel is still stronger than ever but hopes are dying out as the Capitol gains more control over each district. After the 74th Hunger Games little rebellions broke out, but with no one to guide the rebelling districts the Capitol quickly put them back in place. Now the 80th Hunger Games is rolling around and the Gamemakers have quite a twist in the cruel and unfair games that will keep everyone on their feet. Who will come out alive? When will the next Mockingjay step out of the ashes? Enter Panem and join their fight for freedom as a new rebellion sparks...
